First all, quit calling me jee....ok? I'm just 25 years old. :-)
If you have any kind of doubts, u can always contact me. I will be glad to help u anytime.
I hadn't come across any mistake while making the pattern. I have added another link to the pattern...Link 2.... I had followed that one and there weren't any kind of mistakes in it.
I have a college friend, her name's Vinita Sastry, I call her Vini.
I have started working on Pleat Repeat Doily..im on 11th round. It sez, the gauge till 7th round should be 6cm. Mine is a centimetre shorter, 5cm. Will it make a difference in the end?
Actually, im a novice at crocheting. I just know the basics. I showed the whole website to my Husband and he was truely mesmerised like me. He wanted me to make the Pleat Repeat Doily. So here's a novice hopping along the Advanced level. I hope it comes out like yours.
Your thread size must be different than that of the original pattern.... thats why it must be measuring a little bit smaller. But that's not a problem at all. I usually make the doilies with whatever thread is available... and I never bother whether it is of the exact size mentioned in the pattern or not. I don't really care about the thread size at all.
I'm looking forward to see your finished doily. :-))
Namaste Vinita! Shukriyaa---I thank you for your sweet comment on my blog! I am so glad you found me! You do such very lovely crochet work yourself & I'm happy to be your newest follower. :o)
I have a very good online friend that is Indian & he has taught me a few words in Hindi. :o) I would really love to speak it fluently & hope to some day, but it is harder to learn how to actually say the words when you don't have someone to help you with the pronunciation.
