Just beautiful..great idea to use blue for the water. I made the same one (is in my blog) and i use tiny little beads for the eyes. I have the same problem, just couldn't have those eyes right with the needle.

It is really nice to see a pattern I first used over twenty years ago made up on your site I recently found the pattern to scan for another crocheter. I liked the way you have used the blue it has been really nicely done. When I was looking at it I wondered how it would look with the multi colour blue thread I live in England and we have a major problem obtaining coloured crochet cotton. But after seeing what you have done I am going to see if I can find some blue multi and redo the pattern. On my original pattern you also had the single swan with a small mat attached. You can also get a pattern with 8swans . Reallly nice work and I love the other designs and the russian patterns as well having visited Russia it bought back happy memories Thank yuou for the designs.
